I am Patricia Ihidero, the Creative Director and designer-maker behind Iris By Hazel, based in the vibrant city of Milton Keynes, UK. My journey into the world of adornment began with a desire to bridge the gap between high-fashion aesthetics and approachable elegance, creating pieces that embody "understated luxury" for the modern woman. My vision for the brand is deeply rooted in my multidisciplinary background—from the expressive storytelling of Theatre Arts at Nnamdi Azikiwe University to the disciplined precision of Jewellery Design in New Delhi. I started this brand to offer sophisticated, energetic, and inspiring pieces that act as a personal signature for those who wear them, ensuring that every item feels as "knowledgeable" and "elegant" as the individual it celebrates.

"I believe jewellery should be two things: beautiful and wearable. Because I hand-assemble and finish every piece in my Milton Keynes studio, I get to be picky about what goes into my toolkit.

Sterling Silver: For those 'forever' pieces. I use genuine 925 sterling silver, perfect for sensitive skin and long-term love. (Note: Any silver piece weighing over 7.78g is sent off for its official 'passport'—a UK hallmark—so you know it's the real deal!)

Stainless Steel and Natural Stones: The unsung hero of my studio. It's tough, it doesn't tarnish, and it's ready for your daily adventures. some of it come as 304 Stainless steel for even better quality. Think of this as your 'life-proof' jewellery.

Curated Alloys, Acrylic Beads and Glass Crystals: For my more playful, intricate costume designs, I use alloys. These are chosen for their lightweight feel and ability to hold beautiful detail, making sure you can make a statement without the heavy lifting. Acrylic beads for its lustre and light on your pocket as well as glass crystals for that lovely twinkle.

Why buy from me? Unlike the high-street 'fast fashion' chains, I personally check every jump ring, clasp, and ear wire before it leaves my bench. If it's not good enough for me to wear, it's not good enough for you!"
