People often ask me how I name my pieces. Do I just pick words that sound 'posh'? (Okay, maybe a little!) But usually, it starts with a story—or as we call it in the jewellery studio, The Lore.
Take The Lore Unisex Charm Bracelet. I wanted a piece that felt like a family heirloom you hadn't discovered yet. I wanted it to feel heavy, significant, and timeless. It's designed for the storytellers—the ones who carry their history on their sleeves (or wrists).
When I was studying Jewellery Design in New Delhi, I learned that a piece of jewellery is just metal and stone until someone wears it. Then, it becomes a memory.
The Oceanic Archive might remind you of the sea—or of the summer you finally learned to swim at 35. The Aurelian Pearl might remind you of your own strength—or of your grandmother's quiet resilience. The Midnight Monarch might be about royalty—or about the night you decided to stop waiting for permission.
Every piece I design is a blank page. I've written the first chapter. You get to write the rest.
What story will yours tell?
