For nearly two decades, I immersed myself in the world of words, crafting narratives for others as a copywriter. Before that, my heart beat to the rhythm of the stage, fuelled by a degree in Theatre Arts. In the last few years, i have crafted pastries (which I still do by the way) that are healthier versions of their counterparts but will ignite your taste buds. I learned early on that whether it's a wonderful treat, compelling advertisement or a show-stopping performance, true magic happens when you combine careful design with heartfelt intention.
But beneath the hustle and the deadlines, a quieter, more personal creativity was always humming. I found myself drawn to the tactile beauty of beads, the glint of metal, and the way a perfectly chosen accessory could transform not just an outfit, but an entire presence. It was in this space—this joyful, hands-on artistry—that the seed for Iris By Hazel was planted.
This brand is my personal encore, a space where my passion for storytelling, intricate detail, and empowering women intertwines.
