The Best Part of the 'Lead Role'? The People Who Wear It

When I sat down at my bench to design the first pieces for Iris By Hazel, I had a very specific vision of the 'Lead Role' woman. I pictured someone ambitious, someone who values beauty, and someone who isn't afraid to stand out even with limited pocket.

But seeing that vision come to life on you has been better than any script I could have written.

Over the past few months, I've had the privilege of connecting with so many of you—both here in Milton Keynes and further afield. I've seen the Chapters Keepsake worn at graduation ceremonies, the Continuum Buckle styled for big boardroom presentations, and the Rosé Garden sets lighting up weekend brunches.

What I've realised is that this brand isn't just about my designs; it's about the way you make them your own. Every time you tag me in a photo or send a quick WhatsApp to tell me how many compliments you got on your 'glister,' it fuels the next round of creativity at my bench.

You've taught me that the 'Lead Role' isn't a single character—it's an entire cast. It's the graduate, the executive, the friend celebrating nothing and everything over brunch. It's you, showing up as yourself, unapologetically.

I am so grateful for the conversations we've started here. As I look at the sketches on my desk today, I'm reminded that we are only just getting started. There are so many more stories to tell, and I can't wait to share the next one with you right here next week.
